A chainsaw is a useful tool in many industries, but operating a chainsaw can be dangerous if the right precautions are not taken. According to the Centers for Disease Control, there are about 36,000 chainsaw-related injuries each year. The risk of injury can be minimized by using safe operating procedures and wearing the proper personal protective equipment, or PPE.
